A few weeks ago we took the girls for a ride on the Lake Harriet Trolley. Its amazing to think that it used be the primary mode of transportation back in the early 1900s and that they have managed to keep it running today. While it was a short ride, Claire loved every minute. It took Charlotte a little while to get comfortable, but by the end she was having fun as well.

Birthday Girl
We met up with the Wannings over Memorial Weekend to help celebrate Whitney's 3rd birthday. The girls had a great time together, chasing each other and giggling at pretty much everything. We met up at the MOA, so lucky for the them there was a ton of space to run. I think the highlights of the day were the cake/ice cream and the ride on the trucks.

Fun with Rocks
The girls are obsessed with rocks. I find them in their carseats, in the pockets of their jackets...even in random places around the house. Any time we are out and about and they see rocks, they want to bring a few home. It is a little out of control.
Given their interest, we went on a rock hunt last Friday morning. We walked down the street to the park and they filled their buckets full of rocks. Once we had 2 very full buckets, we headed home to continue our fun with rocks. I got out the paints and the girls created their very own rock masterpieces. They only made a small dent in the bucket of collected rocks, so I have a feeling we will be doing more painting some time soon.
